WORKFORCE: NHS Nottinghamshire County is experiencing an increase in staff sickness levels related to organisational change.
Sickness absence levels are at 4.1 per cent. The recent increase was mainly due to stress, anxiety and musculo-skeletal problems.
The primary care trust will continue to monitor levels using the “Bradford Formula”.
Assitant director of organisational development Matt Donaghy said the “high sickness levels were likely to be short-term and related to organsational change,” according to minutes.
