PERFORMANCE: Delayed transfers of care have again been identified as a “major cause of concern” at Oxford University Hospitals Trust.

The trust’s November board papers cited a monthly average of 140 delays, equating to a rate of 7.8 per cent – more than double the target rate.

More than half – 76 – were attributed to the trust

“Significant work is on-going with partner organisations to redesign bed based services,” the papers said.
