PERFORMANCE: Commissioners expressed concerns about south east London mental and community health provider Oxleas Foundation Trust at a quality and safety meeting last month.
Board minutes said there were “concerns about patient handovers at the urgent care centre, Queen Mary’s Sidcup, relating to the handover of information from day time to night time providers (Bexley issue)”.
The trust is currently investigating after a patient in their care was charged with the murder of a passerby yesterday, shortly after being transferred from an accident and emergency to one of their facilities.
The minutes added: “IT access was an issue as well as the sharing of records which was currently not permissible (Bexley issue)”.
