Top provider chief executives are among the judges for this year’s HSJ Partnership Awards.
This year’s panel of judges includes Maidstone and Tunbridge Trust chief Miles Scott, Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital Foundation Trust’s Jane Tomkinson, and Wirral University Teaching Hospital FT CEO Janelle Holmes.
Other judges include NHS England’s national clinical director for elective care Stella Vig.
The awards, now in their seventh year, celebrate the essential work between NHS organisations and private and third-sector partners.
This year’s event also introduces a new way of awarding. Rather than naming a winner and highly commended, the 28 categories will instead have gold, silver and bronze awards, so more projects can be recognised. New award categories for this year include Best Legal Services Partnership with the NHS, Long-Term Partnership with the NHS, and Virtual Care Project of the Year.
Also, from today, HSJ is waiving the fee for entering the awards for a one-week period, in recognition of World Patient Safety Day on 17 September. Entries close in just under three weeks’ time on 29 September.
Winners of the awards will be announced at a ceremony at Evolution London on 21 March 2024.
