The shortlist for the Patient Safety Awards 2018 has been unveiled.

Now in its tenth year, the awards have become one of the biggest celebrations of outstanding practice in the NHS and from independent providers, as patient safety continues to be at the forefront of new health policy.

This year’s finalists are judged to be those who have gone above and beyond to deliver exceptional patient care and safety. The projects highlight and demonstrate constant innovation, as well as the drive to overcome challenges to put patients’ needs first.

The final round of judging begins on 30 April. The winners will be announced at a ceremony on 9 July in Manchester.
