NHS Manchester has announced that Brian Harrison has been re-appointed as a non-executive director for another four years.

Mr Harrison is also a director of Manchester Science Park, Manchester Ship Canal developments, Manchester Airport Group and Marketing Manchester, and a city councillor.

He has worked in the NHS since 1994 as non-executive and chairman of Manchester health authority and non-executive of Greater Manchester strategic health authority.

He said: “I am really looking forward to continuing to work closely with NHS Manchester, in its mission to improve the health of this great city.”

NHS Manchester chief executive Laura Roberts said: “Brian has been an extremely valuable member of our board, and we are delighted that he is staying with us for another four years.”
