Public health directors have made a minimum price on alcohol their top priority ahead of the general election.
The UK Faculty of Public Health and the Royal Society for Public Health have made a minimum price of 50p per unit top priority in their joint public health manifesto. In a separate survey of 97 public health directors, by the Association of Directors of Public Health, 83 per cent said lobbying for a minimum price was their top priority ahead of the election.
