HSJ has mapped every inspection rating the Care Quality Commission has handed out to NHS trusts in England to date.

The regulator has now completed its inspections of every non-specialist acute trust in the country – concluding a process which began in September 2013 when it launched its new inspection regime.

While all acute trusts have now been inspected, around 20 are still waiting for their report and ratings to be published. Our analysis gives the most comprehensive view of care quality across the country to date.

HSJ also looked at how providers with different ratings performed in the most recent NHS staff survey. The graph below shows the average percentage of staff who would recommend care at their trust.
