PERFORMANCE: Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust was picked out by the Care Quality Commission as performing above average in the inpatient survey for the number of nursing staff on duty.

The results of the 2012 national inpatient survey were published by the CQC earlier this month.

Queen Victoria Hospital was among nine trusts identified by the CQC as performing “significantly better than average” for question 30 – in your opinion, were there enough nurses on duty to care for you in hospital?
