PERFORMANCE: Clinical governance experts are examining whether an action plan is being followed at a mental health unit where six inpatients took their own lives while on leave between April and December 2013.
Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber Foundation Trust is monitoring whether its Great Oaks mental health unit in Scunthorpe has improved its services.
An independent review related to the suicides was commissioned by North Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group and published in November.
The review made 20 recommendations for change, which highlighted the need for staff training on suicide prevention, better management of poor staff performance and better record keeping.
