PERFORMANCE: A primary care trust’s review of quality at the Royal Berkshire Foundation Trust has found that it is performing well compared to other trusts in the area.

Berkshire West PCT looked at the monthly quality monitoring data from the hospital and the trust’s performance against CQUIN indicators set by the commissioner.

The PCT’s quality monitoring report said: “As with any large complex health organisation clinical quality is better in some areas that others.

“But when Royal Berkshire Foundation Trust is compared to other trusts, particularly across the MOBBB [Milton Keynes, Oxfordshire, Berkshire East, Berkshire West] geographical area, it can be seen that Royal Berkshire Foundation Trust is performing well.”
