Delayed transfers up at Northern Devon

In the north of the county DTOC are 18.4 per cent above the target of 3.5 per cent while in the east of the county delays are 3.2 per cent above plan. However, DTOC’s in the trust’s acute hospital are 1.5 per cent better than plan.

A report to November’s board said the main factors for the deteriorating position at the community hospitals were assignment of care managers, completion of assessments and nursing/residential home placements.
