FINANCE: Royal United Hospital Bath Trust is behind plan on its income by £833,000 due to underperformance on elective activity.

A report to June’s board said it was anticipated that activity levels will increase in future months, as the trust “formulates and delivers a revised” referral to treatment waiting times plan.

The report said the trust had lost £155,000 so far this year under the non-elective threshold with a further £298,000 lost due to the readmissions threshold penalty.
