Sheffield Children’s Foundation Trust closely missed the 18 weeks referral to treatment target for admitted patients in August.
It is the most recent information reported to the board of the NHS North of England board.
The organisation’s performance board paper says: “At Sheffield Children’s NHS FT, all breaches of 18 weeks are in the speciality of oral surgery. Breaches have increased in this specialty due to staff sickness and additional slots have been in place over the weekend to recover the position.”
The paper says: “NHS Yorkshire and Humber continues to deliver the 90% and 95% aggregate positions. Plans are in place for recovery for the individual hospitals.”
