WORKFORCE: Martin Wakeley, chief executive at the £253m-turnover trust is leaving eight months after his appointment in October.
He was replaced on an interim basis by Mark Goldman at the beginning of this month.
Trust chair Tracy Doucét said: “Our ambitious vision is that by 2020, we will be recognised across the East Midlands as the best provider of secondary care, and also as the creator and best provider of high quality, cost effective integrated care, forging new partnerships with our colleagues in primary, secondary and social care.
“We will continue to do this by ensuring we continue to have the best care, provided by the best people in the best place.
“With these ambitions in mind and in order to build on some of our successes over the last 12 months, the trust board has appointed Dr Mark Goldman as interim chief executive”.
Mr Wakeley has previously been director of operations for Circle and chief executive of Winchester and Eastleigh Hospitals Foundation Trust.
