FINANCE: The south east London acute trust was aiming for savings of £6.8m by the end of month five but missed that by £3.3m.
The finance report said: “Against the current CIP programme the divisions are forecasting a full year shortfall of £8.4m.”
The trust is reporting a year-to-date deficit is £38.9m against a planned £31m, £7.8m worse than expected based on the trust’s planned deficit of £69.8m.
