FINANCE: The south east London acute trust is predicting spending £2.4m on treating orthopaedics and bariatrics patients at private facilities.
Gynaecology and endoscopy will also be in part outsourced to try and hit 18-week waiting list targets, the trust’s most recent board papers revealed.
The document said the current year-end defict was forecast at £69.8m.
