PERFORMANCE: Delayed discharges are far above target at South Warwickshire Foundation Trust.

Board papers for September show that in the year to August, 10.9 per cent of patients in the acute to community pathway were delayed, against a target of 3.5 per cent.

For discharges to other acute settings, the rate was 3.8 per cent.

Meanwhile, ambulance handover terms were under strain.

While 17.7 per cent of handovers were not finished within half an hour, against a target of 10 per cent, 5.7 per cent of handovers were not completed within 45 minutes.
