STRUCTURE: South Warwickshire Foundation Trust is asking staff and its local communities to think of an “innovative” new name for its Royal Leamington Spa Rehabilitation Hospital.

The facility is currently undergoing a £6.2m development programme, which will see a new “two storey, state-of-the-art inpatient facility” for patients who require neuro-rehabilitation.

General manager for acquired brain injury Sue Bleasdale said: “We are taking fantastic strides forward with this development programme which will ensure that we can offer our specialist services to many more patients.

“As we modernise the hospital we really want a name that will fit with our new building. Some people often become confused with our current name as rehabilitation refers to many different remits. Therefore, we want a fresh name that really allows our services to stand out.”

Suggestions can be emailed to communications@swft.nhs.uk. The winning name will be announced later this year.
