PERFORMANCE: NHS London has agreed that NHS South West London can use £5.4m in top-sliced funding to set up a long term conditions programme delivery board.

A list of applications for the use of the top-sliced funds approved by the SHA said: “This programme seeks to enable the delivery of a sustainable healthcare economy by delivering care more appropriately closer to home and by improving patient outcomes and experiences for those with long term conditions.

“This request for funding is supported by a full business case for the set up costs of the programme board and non recurrent implementation for 12-13.”

The list was disclosed under the Freedom of Information Act.
