PERFORMANCE: The London teaching hospital went live with the Cerner Millenium system in March and its chief executive last month reported it is “facing issues with a large volume of data with no pathway ID and the quality of data”.
A report from chief executive Peter Coles said: “As part of that implementation the trust has been attempting to establish an 18-week patient tracking list with a solution compatible with the Cerner Millennium system.
“Due to the failure of a number of potential solutions, both in-house and from BT, the trust is currently facing issues with a large volume of data with no pathway ID and the quality of data within the patient tracking list.”
He added: “The trust has developed an action plan to address internal process as well as technical issues, to be implemented by September 2011.”
