WORKFORCE: A new director of therapies and innovations has joined Surrey and Borders Partnership Foundation Trust this month.
Clinical psychologist Helen Rostill will lead the trust’s specialist therapies and research and development teams for Surrey and North East Hampshire.
The role involves leading specialist therapies including speech and language, and arts and physio therapy. She will also lead the trust’s participation in national research and pilot studies.
Dr Rostill has replaced Andy Edeleanu who retired in her role as director of therapies in July.
She was formerly the head of psychological therapies for children and adolescents at Coventry and Wiltshire Partnership NHS Trust.
She said: “I’m committed to providing evidenced outcomes that are value for money, safe and effective and I believe that working in partnership with local services is the best way to achieve this.”
