PERFORMANCE: Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust scored two “good” ratings and an “excellent” in the latest round of Patient Environment Action Team (PEAT) inspections.

Paul Simpson, chief financial officer and acting chief executive, said: “I’m pleased to say that we scored Good for environment, Good for food and Excellent for privacy and dignity.”

The trust’s PEAT results for 2012 were independently validated by assessors were from the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead.
