STRUCTURE: A new and improved breast screening service for women in Surrey and North East Hampshire has been officially opened.
The refurbished facilities at the Jarvis Breast Screening and Diagnostic Centre in Guildford are part of a £4m investment in breast screening in Surrey.
It includes four new digital diagnostic machines – providing more accurate and defined images – at the centre and five new state of the art digital mobile vans.
The two year project was funded by NHS Surrey and jointly supported by Surrey Community Health.
