PERFORMANCE: Social Enterprise scheme Central Surrey Health has won a national award for best employee idea for service innovation.
Central Surrey Health’s 0-19 team won the “Employee Innovation” category in the 2011 Phillip Baxendale Awards, held in November.
School nurse Felicity Hill and her colleagues were given the freedom to lead a re-design of their enuresis service over the summer.

“The result is a quicker, higher quality and more consistent service,” according to Central Surrey Health.
Campbell McDonald, director at the Baxi Partnership, said: “Felicity and the enuresis team are a shining example of how co-owned organisations such as Central Surrey Health can harness innovation to bring about changes to services that really do benefit patients and their families.”
