WORKFORCE: Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has seen a 13 per cent drop in the number of reported bullying and harassment cases over a year, its annual Equality and Human Rights report has shown.

The trust’s board of directors received its report, which was produced in-house, on April 27. The study also showed that the number of staff from black and minority ethnic backgrounds rose in to 11.7 per cent during the year, up from 10.7 per cent in 2009.

The staff survey showed that 80 per cent works said they either strongly agreed or agreed that the organisation is “inclusive of people regardless of their age, disability, sexual orientation, religion and belief, race and gender.” The figure is a 6 per cent increase over 2009.
