WORKFORCE: The foundation trust boosted its workforce by 246 in April following its takeover of new services under the transforming community services programme.

In her June report, acting chief executive Sue Morris said: “On 1 April 2011 the trust took on the responsibility for the delivery of child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) in Hampshire with a successful launch event on the 14 April 2011.”

She added: “Again on 1 April 2011 the trust took over the responsibility for delivery of healthcare services within Lewes Prison, these two services welcomed 246 new staff into the trust.”

The report also noted that Ms Morris had written to “each individual member of staff and welcomed them to the trust”.
