PERFORMANCE: Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys Foundation Trust missed failed to hit its targets for patients waiting no more than four weeks for an appointment each month from April to October 2013.

According to board papers, 87.8 per cent of patients waited no longer than four weeks for a first appointment in October. This was increase on the previous month and the 87.5 per cent year to date average, but still below the 98 per cent target.

They also said that 88.6 per cent of patients waited no longer than four weeks following an internal referral in October, against a 96 per cent target.
