The 2018 HSJ Awards are now open for entries.
The awards ceremony will take place on 21 November at the Intercontinental O2 London.
It is the perfect platform to recognise, reward and celebrate great achievements in the NHS and showcase them to the sector’s most influential audience.
This 37th edition of the awards will be the largest celebration of healthcare excellence in the UK. In addition to the NHS’s 70th anniversary, HSJ has announced six new categories and a new judging stage for the awards. This will give entrants more opportunity to be recognised and rewarded for outstanding contributions to healthcare.
There are 24 categories to enter with the new categories celebrating partnerships, digital participation, improvements in culture personalised care and medicines optimisation.
A new judging stage will add a new level of rigour, checks and balances. This also allows HSJ to provide feedback on every entry submitted.
HSJ editor Alistair McLellan said “There will be plenty of celebration of the NHS’s innovation during its 70th birthday – but none larger or more prestigious than the HSJ Awards. The HSJ Awards has grown to become the biggest celebration of healthcare excellence in the world because it has been adopted by the NHS as the most effective way to recognise, celebrate and spread its greatest successes. This year we have introduced a range of new categories – and retired some others – to make sure the awards accurately reflect the challenges the NHS is facing. I wish all our entrants good luck.”
The HSJ Awards, sponsored by de Poel health + care, are open for entries from across UK healthcare with a closing deadline for all submissions on 31 May.
