Princess Alexandra Hospital Trust has appointed a new chief executive, the trust has announced.
The trust has appointed former Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals chief executive Trust Phil Morley, who will take up his position on 7 July.
He succeeds Chris Bown who replaced Melanie Walker on an interim basis in April 2014.
Mr Morley has worked in the NHS for 30 years. His first chief executive position was for Mid Cheshire Trust in 2007, prior to which he held various director roles and led on a number of key projects at the Department of Health.
Trust chairman Douglas Smallwood said: “We are delighted that Phil will be joining us and are proud that we have attracted such a highly experienced professional. The wealth of knowledge and leadership he will bring will prove to be extremely valuable.”
