WORKFORCE: Eleven more members of staff have been enrolled on the Princess Alexandra Hospital Trust’s apprenticeship scheme.
Martin Smith, head of training said: “Each apprentice is selected because they have been identified as having a strong drive to progress in their field of work.
“The course isn’t easy but the hard work is worth it and the staff appreciate the investment that the trust is making in their future.”
The group, which is made up of staff such as healthcare, maternity and laboratory assistants, are assessed through written assignments and practical assessments for the A-level standard qualifications.
