WORKFORCE: The Queen Elizabeth Hospital FT’s chief executive will leave the trust in October, it has been announced.
Nerissa Vaughan will take up a new post as chief executive of The Great Western Hospitals Foundation Trust in Swindon.
She joined the QEH in March 2008 from Kettering General Hospital.
Ms Vaughan said: “It has been a privilege to lead the QEH for the last three and a half years. It has been exciting and rewarding and I am proud of what we have achieved. The QEH is a fabulous hospital and I have learnt so much here.
Mark Henry, currently deputy chief executive, will take over as acting chief executive in October until a new appointment is made.
