COMMERCIAL: Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital Foundation Trust has agreed an £11m three-year investment plan to improve hospital facilities.

The trust plans to redevelop “key patient areas”, including corridors, the diagnostics department, wards and theatres will be improved.

A trust press release said: “The plan is to extend the highest standards of environment right through the hospital to provide the very best for patients and staff.”

Chief executive Wendy Farrington Chadd said: “By re-investing in our facilities, we can help our staff to deliver the very best.  This re-investment will only be possible through continued efficient running of the hospital.”
