PERFORMANCE: United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust is missing the 18 week treatment to referral target by up to 26 per cent in some departments.

Its overall performance in October 2010, the most recent month for which figures have been published, was 85.61 per cent, against a 90 per cent target.

This was largely due to waits in trauma and orthopaedics, where performance is 66.67 per cent.

Other departments missing the target include general surgery (84.49 per cent), ENT (84.47 per cent) and ophthalmology (88.94 per cent).

Median wait was 11.8 weeks, which is above the national plan of 11.1 weeks.
