PERFORMANCE: University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire is behind target on a third of its key performance indicators.

July board papers reveal the trust breached 18 of 53 key standards in June.

This meant the trust had a Monitor rating of one for finance, the worst possible score, and four for governance, where five is the worst possible mark.

This was despite modest improvements on patient falls, pressure ulcers and delayed transfers of care indicators.
