University Hospitals of Coventry and Warwickshire Trust has appointed Nina Fraser as interim chief nursing officer

Ms Fraser, who will join the trust on 28 November for six months, has been brought in to replace Mark Radford who left in September to become national director of nursing improvement at NHS Improvement.

Ms Fraser is a registered nurse and was previously director of nursing and patient services at Bedford Hospital Trust.

The trust said it will begin advertising for a permanent chief nursing officer in January.

Andy Hardy, chief executive at Coventry and Warwickshire, said: “I would like to take this opportunity to once again thank Mark for his contributions to the trust.

“I am really looking forward to working with Nina and feel that her experience and enthusiasm will be a huge benefit to the staff at UHCW and patients in Coventry and Warwickshire.”
