PERFORMANCE: Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Foundation Trust is to be inspected by the Care Quality Commission from the 23 to 25 October.
The trust is one of 18 in the first wave of the CQC’s new inspection regime and one of six selected because they are judged a high risk.
The trust’s quality and risk profile, published with it’s latest board papers, reveals the trust was not red rated overall for any of the outcomes. However, the trust was worse or much worse than expected on 30 indicators out of about 600.
The 30 included seven indicators relating to score against the patient environment action team (PEAT) inspections, seven relating to surveys of inpatients and accident and emergency patients and six relating to mortality rates.
