PERFORMANCE: Police made 37 arrests on the foundation trust’s sites in 2010-11, up 68 per cent on the 22 recorded the previous year, board papers show.

Among the arrests on WWH grounds last year, were nine for assault, nine for being drunk and disorderly, three for burglary, four for possession of drugs, and one for attempted rape, the annual report of its local security management specialist shows.

However, the report adds, there were only six violent assaults at the foundation that were considered suitable for action “within the criminal justice system”. This was the same number experienced there in 2009-10.
