PERFORMANCE: The west London acute hospital has been rapped by commissioners NHS North West London over its year-to-date Caesarian section percentage of 27.7.

Board papers for the first quarter of the financial year show the overall year-to-date rate was 27.7 per cent, which the trust said “remains above” the contract target of 26 per cent.

The rate for individual month of June showed some improvement and was 25.8 per cent, slightly below the contractual target of 26 per cent.

However, the performance report said: “This indicator remains subject to a performance notice issued by NHS North West London.”
