STRUCTURE: Mark Jopling has been appointed to the West Middlesex University Hospital board of directors.
Mr Jopling, who lives in Teddington, was brought in as a non-executive director earlier this month to replace Andrew Daws who decided to step down.
Mr Jopling, currently with BT, brings with him both domestic and global experience of working in technology and consumer firms.
In the past the experienced commercial director has also taken on roles with Vodafone and Mars, with 10 years of operating board experience to his name across areas including sales and marketing. The Appointments Commission made the appointment - which lasts from May 1 to April 30 2015.
Chair Tom Hayhoe said: “On behalf of the trust board and our staff I would like to welcome Mark to West Middlesex University Hospital. He joins us at a pivotal point, with many new challenges facing us and the future of the trust.
“I would also like to thank Andrew Daws for all his hard work and commitment to the trust since he joined us in 2002. Anyone who remembers the hospital as it was then will have seen a remarkable improvement in its facilities and in its patient care.”
