A group of leading commissioning support units are recruiting four new members of staff to drive and expand their programme of joint working, including one role which could be worth more than £100,000 a year.

The Elis group of CSUs is advertising for a full time “programme director” on Agenda for Change band nine, with a pay package of £84,129 to £104,732 a year.

There are also new roles advertised for a “programme manager” on band 8b, “project support officer” on band six, and a “project administrator” on band four.

All four are advertised on a “secondment” contract, or will be offered as fixed term posts for up to 18 months. The employer is listed as the North and East London CSU, which will host the Elis group’s joint office.

The advert for the programme director says the role will “support the on-going development of the Elis group work programme by identifying new services, markets and customers, with a clear framework for the further development of the group over the next 18 months.”

“The post holder is responsible for ensuring that a credible and consistent image of the group is presented to stakeholders and customers.”

A spokesman for the Elis group said: “The new posts are to allow us to focus on work that is national in scope, on sharing knowledge and skills, and sharing costs of staff development. They mean the group is putting its words into action.”
