Recommending care to friends and family

We looked at the proportion of staff who disagreed with the statement: “If a friend or relative needed treatment I would be happy with the standard of care provided by this organisation.”

We excluded ambulance provider trusts from this analysis, as they generally have substantially worse performance. All other provider trust types are included.

The best performers reflect the common trend for specialist providers to perform well in the staff survey, but there are also some general acute and community health service trusts with strong results, including North Midlands and the Dudley Group.
