Norfolk Community Health and Care

Norfolk Community Health exceeds MRSA target

PERFORMANCE: Norfolk Community Health and Care Trust has already exceeded its MRSA target for the year.

The trust had one case in April - taking it to the limit for the whole financial year - and reported a second in July.

The trust also had an increased number of falls in July - 78, up from 56 in June, two of which resulted in moderate harm and one in serious harm.

The number of pressure ulcers increased, possibly as a result of increased awareness. The number of avoidable pressure ulcers remained stable between June and July.
