STRUCTURE: A new website for young people with mental health problems is being publicised through a cinema advert – starring an 18-year-old who received support from a mental health trust for anxiety and depression.
The advert for CAMHS “Who Am i?” was shown to some of the young people who starred in it at a special screening at the Odeon cinema in Warrington, including 5 Boroughs Partnership Foundation Trust council of governors’ member James Armstrong who provided the voiceover for the film.
The website provides a welcoming online community for young people having difficulties.
James, who has been closely involved in the “Who Am I?” website from the start, explains in his voiceover that if you feel alone even when surrounded by lots of people, there are people and services who can help.
The film was shown in cinemas across the trust’s area during half term.
