WORKFORCE: More than 100 of the foundation’s 2,200 staff have applied for the mutually agreed resignation scheme, latest board papers show.
Nine of the applications were withdrawn, because they were not supported by business managers or assistant directors. According to the chief executive’s June report, a panel was due to meet on 20 June to analyse the remaining 97 applications, to see if they came from
a. roles targeted for potential redundancy,
b. roles which would provide good “redeployment opportunities” if the incumbents left, or
c. roles which if vacant could be “disestablished” or enable restructuring which would justify the MARS payments.
