PERFORMANCE: The north central London hospital trust is breaching the commissioner-set targets for converting A&E attendances into admissions.

A performance report said the target for the year was that no more than 22.05 per cent of A&E attendances should be admitted, with the trust recording a rate of 23.2 per cent for the year-to-date.

The report to the board said this had incurred in £1.1m in potential penalties and the November position had worsened on October.
