RESEARCH: Barnsley Hospital Foundation Trust is planning to hold an annual “innovation day”.
The first innovation day will be on 22 May. A statement says it will include “short workshops on telehealth and how to adopt breakthrough innovations in health”. It says: “More than 20 exhibitors, including many from the hospital, will be showcasing innovations across a range of health care needs including new approaches to patient care, surgical instruments, dressings, tagging devices, beds and chairs and mobile working.”
The event has been organised by Bob Kirton, head of business change at the hospital.
