COMMERCIAL: A south west primary care trust cluster has been told it will have to select an additional service to open up to any qualified provider after one of its first choices did not comply with national guidance.

Under the original plan NHS Wiltshire chose autism services while NHS Bath and North East Somerset originally selected adult wheel chair services and children’s wheelchair services.

However, the cluster was informed by NHS South of England at the beginning of January that wheelchair services only counted as one service. As clusters were required to choose three services they will now select a third.
