PERFORMANCE: Delayed transfers of care at community hospitals run by and integrated provider of health and social care are increasing.

In August 2012 DTOCs were 13.8 per cent at St Martin’s hospital in Bath and 19.4 per cent from Paulton Memorial Hospital against a target of less than 5 per cent. Both are run by Sirona Care and Health.

A report to the social enterprise’s October board meeting said the number of delays was “significantly” higher than the previous year.
