WORKFORCE: NHS Bournemouth and Poole’s acting chief executive has announced she will stand down at the end of March.
In her report to the primary care trust’s board meeting on 2 March, Anne Swan, reminded members that the PCT would only need one accountable officer as it moved towards clustering arrangements with NHS Dorset.
According to a second report presented to the board, “at the time of the board papers going to press there has not been any formal communication from NHS South West about the process to be followed”.
It recommends board members approve the appointment of Paul Sly as interim chief executive in conjunction with his role as chief executive of NHS Dorset, pending the clarification of the appointment to the post of a chief executive for the relevant cluster in which NHS Bournemouth and Poole will be located.
